What is a specific small moped?

From July 1, 2023, electric scooters and other vehicles that meet certain requirements will be classified as specific small motorized bicycles, and new traffic rules will apply.

■Maximum speed: 20km/h or less ■Riding location: Generally, you must drive on roads, but bicycle paths are also permitted ■No license required (However, those under 16 years of age are not permitted to drive)
■ Wearing a helmet is a voluntary obligation. ■ Obtaining and attaching a license plate and taking out compulsory automobile liability insurance are required. ■ Maximum speed indicator lights are mandatory.

③Delivery of starter kit
Once we have confirmed your identity, we will send the documents necessary for license plate registration to the address you specify.

*Please do not forget to purchase your own compulsory automobile liability insurance or optional insurance. You can also purchase insurance at convenience stores, etc.

⑤ Traffic rules confirmation sheet for specific small motorized bicycles
Please watch the traffic rules confirmation video and check the items on the traffic rules confirmation sheet included in the starter kit.

⑥ Send photos of your "Signage Certificate," "License Plate," and "Traffic Rules Confirmation Sheet"
Please take a photo of your vehicle that shows your license plate number and send it to the store's official LINE account.
