■ "PayPay Scratch Lottery"

*The official name of the campaign is "PayPay Scratch Lottery (July 2025)."
Users who have completed eKYC identity verification and make payments of 200 yen or more (including tax) with "PayPay" or "PayPay Card" at participating stores (including credit card affiliated stores) will be entered into a lottery to win one of the top three prizes in the "PayPay Scratch Lottery," with the probability depending on the payment method and conditions. A scratch card of a different color will appear on the screen after payment depending on the payment method, and the winner of first prize will be awarded "PayPay Points" worth up to the full amount (100%) of the payment amount (*2).
If you pay with "PayPay Balance (hereinafter including payments with PayPay Balance Card)" on the red screen, you have a 1 in 4 chance of winning one of the 1st to 3rd prizes. If you pay with "PayPay Credit" or "PayPay Card" on the blue screen, your chances of winning 1st to 3rd prizes increase to 1 in 2. Payments with "PayPay Card" are eligible for the campaign not only for payments with plastic cards, but also for payments with "PayPay Card" set up on Apple Pay or Google Pay. You can scratch the scratch card immediately after receiving the payment notification on "PayPay".
Furthermore, to commemorate PayPay Bank becoming a subsidiary of PayPay in April 2025, users who set up banking functions with "PayPay" (*3) will receive special benefits. Users who set up banking functions with "PayPay" will have an increased chance of winning to 1 in 2 if they pay with "PayPay Balance" or "PayPay Debit (formerly PayPay Bank Balance)", and will be guaranteed to win one of the first to third prizes in the "PayPay Scratch Lottery" if they pay with "PayPay Credit" or "PayPay Card". Please note that the winning probability indicates the probability for each lottery draw, and does not necessarily mean that they will win for each chance.
PayPay Bank, which is collaborating with the campaign, allows users to open an account from the PayPay app in as little as one day. Furthermore, if you open an account from the PayPay app, you can check your balance within the app without having to link your account. You can also make unlimited deposits and withdrawals from major convenience store ATMs without a cash card, with no fees, for amounts over 30,000 yen. "PayPay Debit (formerly PayPay Bank Balance)" is a payment service provided by PayPay. "PayPay Balance Card" can only be used for web services. If "PayPay Points" is used in combination with the payment, the winning probability is the same as for "PayPay Balance," "PayPay Credit," and "PayPay Debit." If "PayPay Gift Certificates" are used in combination with the payment, the winning probability is the same as for the combined payment method. *2 The PayPay Scratch Lottery has a combined maximum of 100,000 points per use and period for PayPay and PayPay Card (combined across participating stores). PayPay Points will be awarded at a later date. Withdrawals and transfers are not permitted. PayPay Points can also be used at the official PayPay store and the official PayPay Card store. Lottery tickets expire at 11:59 PM 30 days after acquisition. Lottery tickets cannot be scratched outside of Japan.
